Techy stuff

This is the Nicon d1300 this is the camera I will be using to take my images,
What will I be using?
Aperture
Shutter speed

Aperture is a bunch of little triangles that move towards a central location  or way it this makes a circle, and the circle can get bigger or smaller.

A large aperture lets more light in and a small lets less in.
Now what does this do.

Small apertures are for focusing on everything, everything you can see will be in focus and the image will be sharp. This is used in landscape photos and when background 'stuff' is important.

Large apertures are for focusing on one object the rest will be blurry. This is for focusing on one object when the rest isn't important.

Here is an example of both

Wall-e -LA- f/2                 Walle-e -SA- f/24

Shutter speed depicted how long the shutter is open for

This one is easier as the long it is open the more light is captured
When there is a quick shutter speed everything in the photo is captured light, dark, moving, static...
When it is long, every frame is captured and compared. If there is a flash of light somewhere in the middle that'll be erased.
Pretty neat!

Ok the short shutter speed (or fast whatever) capture the exact timeon this ferris wheel, the long (or slow) captures many and compares, as you see there has been alot of light in thos areas so they are all kept.

That's all for cameras! next post will be snappy! (sorry)
